WORLD PREMIERE
At SXSW, Austin, 1997

STILL BREATHING had its World Premiere showing at the South-By-Southwest Music, Film and Multimedia Conference (SXSW) in Austin Texas, on Saturday, March 15, 1997. The premiere was the finale screening during SXSWeek, March 7 thru 15, 1997.

ZapPictures is excited to have been a part of this young, energetic film festival that is already emerging after only two years as one of the most important, leading-edge festivals of its kind. SXSW was founded as a music festival, and has expanded to become a powerhouse showcase and conference for music, multimedia and independent film makers.

The premiere took place at Austin's Paramount Theatre, at 713 Congress Avenue. Each member of the audience received an extremely-limited-edition collector's CD of the music from the film, and was invited to the party following the showing. Members of the cast, including Brendan Fraser, Joanna Going and Paolo Seganti, as well as musical contributors Junior Brown and Augie Meyers were in attendance to help celebrate the World Premiere of "Still Breathing."
