| TRACK 22
ROZ RETURNS TO TEXAS
This cue starts with Roz's dramatic decision to return to Fletcher. Notice that visually, the scene is played with almost no emotion -- with the score emphasizing all of Roz's internal struggle, especially in the celli and second violins. After a crescendo, the score slips into the "Coming Home Theme" as she returns to the house and kisses him as he sleeps on the table. The orchestra fades away for a moment, to leave her alone with herself in silence -- then gently resumes a quiet and almost monumental treatment of the "Love Theme" which builds to the end of the film.
